►NYWICI's 41st Annual Matrix Awards: Where communicators honor and celebrate! ◄

On Monday, April 11, 2011, over 2,000 women in communications attended NYWICI’s 41st Annual Matrix Awards to celebrate 9 scholarship winners, 7 Matrix Awards Honorees, and 1 very, very, Special Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. For the past several years I have been attending this event, on and off, and a general theme throughout is how meaningful this celebration really is. Lesley Jane Seymour, editor in chief of More Magzine, emceed the event. Highlights included Betty White being presented with NYWICI Lifetime Achievement Award by Valerie Harper. Another delightful surprise was special guest, John Legend, American recording artist, musician and actor and winner of 9 Grammy Awards. Legend's performance was a big surprise and included a big congratulations to all winners including Matrix honoree Cindi Berger who is his pr agent.
